Our Recommendations for the Trip

We recommend that participants bring a bottle of water. On longer trips we recommend you to bring something to eat - for example, chocolate, nuts or sandwiches.

We recommend to use sunblock and protection against mosquitos.

Remember that the trails might be wet because of rain - be careful.

Please let us know if there is something we should know about (medication, allergies, etc)

Bring your camera (or cellphone) and make lots of good photos. Enjoy the nature!

What to Wear

  • Comfortable shoes. Usually sport shoes such as sneakers are enough. It is getting cold in September, so please keep in mind that it would be better to have special trekking shoes.
  • Comfy clothes with an extra layer. It can often be warmer or cooler than expected out in the forest, so it is always better to have an extra layer of clothing to take on/ off.
  • It is better to wear trekking trousers on tours longer than 4 hours.
  • Take a backpack with water or chocolate / sandwich. Nothing feels better than a well-deserved snack with a picturesque view over the city!
We are always here to help if you have any questions - don´t hesitate to contact us by calling/texting +47 22 20 8000 or emailing booking@wheninnorway.no
