The Spectacular Holmenkollen Walk
This tour is only available as a private tour in 2026.
Your journey begins at our tour center in downtown Oslo, where you’ll meet your local guide. Together, you'll board the metro for a scenic ride through breathtaking landscape, up to where the adventure begins. Be sure to capture the moments with your camera!
As you hike, you’ll pass the serene Øvresetertjern Lake, then make your way down to the historic Frognerseteren restaurant. The trail follows part of a 50-kilometer route, including a historic toboggan run from the first Luge World Championship in 1955.
You’ll continue past the ski jump Midtstubakken, and down to the beautiful Holmenkollen Chapel. The grand finale and the highlight of this tour is without doubt the majestic Holmenkollen ski jump, one of the most famous sports arenas in the world.
After taking in the inspiring sight, you’ll stroll down to the metro station and return to the city center, where your adventure began.
